Energy is consumed in different formats across the industrial, commercial and agricultural landscapes. The most common energy carriers used by customers are electricity, diesel, natural gas, coal, paraffin and HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil). Ultimately all energy is measured in gigajoules (GJs) and the energy content of the various options can be compared to one another. We find opportunities where energy switching to a more appropriate energy carriers benefits the customer.
